Aline Studios
 
Aline Conditioning was established in 1991 in Orange County after teaching Pilates and matwork in gyms, and privately for chiropractors, and physical therapists. I ran my studio out of my home until I opened my first location in Costa Mesa in 1995.

My clientele consisted mostly of severe to moderate back and neck pain clients, and many others with structural issues. The year was 1992 so there were only two studios in my area and virtually no workshops to learn how to service these clients. To help these clients I studied anatomy and kinesiology, researched their issues, and established relationships with professionals who could help me. Working slowly and diligently, one client at a time the work developed into the Aline Conditioning Technique Program. We still maintain a 90% success rate with chronic low back pain clients.

As the studio grew I needed help and there were no trainers in my area. I found a dancer who was teaching ballet and had learned Pilates in college. She was willing to become an apprentice and worked very hard learning the technique as I streamlined and developed my skills as a teacher trainer. After training my first teacher, I steadily taught teachers one at a time until I had a successful certification program. To keep the quality and integrity I started with I still only accept a few applicants a year and because of this Aline Conditioning Certification Program is highly respected in the field and graduates are highly coveted.

The studio further expanded to Los Angeles with a full celebrity clientele. We also added Gyrotonic and Gyrokenesis training and were the first studio in O.C. to mix both disciplines with Pilates. The location in Los Angeles closed but our Gyrotonic program continues to grow offering both client and teacher training.

Classes
ALINE TECHNIQUE®
Find muscles in places you didn't know were places. A perfect blend of all we know utilizing yoga, pilates, barre work, magic circles, rollers, light weights, therabands, balls, and cardio. This class is designed to strengthen without bulk and burn calories.

REFORMER CLASS
Limited to 7 students. Pilates exercises utilizing the reformer. Yoga Stretch Reformer Class work more on range of motion and gaining flexibility along with strength. Focus on breath, relaxation and lengthening.

ALINE/PILATES MAT
Pilates Mat learn the mat as we know it. Aline Mat stray away from the exercises and add auxiliary work using rollers, bands, weights, etc. Focus on toning, flexibility, and core strength.

BALLET FIT®
Standing exercises performed at the ballet barre. Incorporates strength, endurance, flexibility,
balance and coordination.

PRE-POST NATAL
We have programs available for the New Mom and the Mom to Be. Call for latest info.

GYROKENESIS YOGA®
Yoga that moves you through circles, arcs, curls, and spirals. Focus is on flexibility of the spine.
