Hitia O Te Ra (Rising of the Sun) is a privately owned Polynesian Dance Studio founded and directed by Alex M. Tekurio located in the city of Garden Grove, CA. Since 1989, Hitia O Te Ra has proudly taught many students to become outstanding Polynesian entertainers. Through teaching and performing the dances and music of the islands, Hitia O Te Ra continues to fulfill its dreams of preserving Polynesian tradition.
