Alohi's Polynesian Dance Studio

 

Alohi's Polynesian Dance Studio, located on the "beautiful island" of Whittier, California, has been in business since 1965. Alohi began teaching out of her home when she was 16 years old and two years later opened her first dance studio on the corner of Calmada and Lambert.

Janet "Alohi" Lamb's dancing career has taken her on tours entertaining throughout the United States, Hawaii, Canada and the Bahamas during the 70's. This included regulars stints at hot spots such as Sam's Seafood in Seal Beach, Seven Seas in Hollywood and the Hawaiian in Long Beach.
