The dream of one woman became a reality when she decided our town needed a dance studio. She shared her vision with the Prairie Arts Council. They agreed to sponsor the not-for-profit studio and the Prairie Arts Council School of Dance was born.

Twenty five students were enrolled that first semester. Classes were held in the basement of the Cargegie Center. Since then, the studio, moved to its current location on Cullen Street.

Each year we have added more opportunities for dancers. We hope to continue this service to our community.

PAC School of Dance is run by volunteers. If you would like to lend your expertise in an area, please talk to the directors.

Q.Other requirements?
A.-We ask that your student be at least 3 years old and potty trained.

Q. Handicapped classes?
A. We include handicapped children with our regular students when possible. If we find a need for a special class for these students, we will certainly persue the option.

Q. Do you have special classes for the elderly?
A. We would like to start one if there is an interest. Please email if you know anyone who might like to join.

Q. Did I hear that you will be offering ballroom dancing?
A. Yes, we are currently looking for a place to hold the class. Our facility is not large enough for this class. Please email us if you are interested in this class.

Additional Information
Yearly Registration Fee $25 per student ($20 for PAC members)
5% discount on multiple classes (additional 5% discount for PAC members)
For PAC membership, please pick up a form in the studio or contact the PAC office.
