Ariel Dance Company was founded in 1987 to promote cultural and artistic diversity in Silicon Valley. The valley is known for chips, for biotech, for dotcoms. Even more, though, this area is known for its incredible ability to create and innovate.

At Ariel, we believe that the climate for innovation cannot be fostered through technical means alone. There is a need for something spiritual, something that gives a chance for rebirth, and express our inner beings. This "something", dance, becomes at once the expression and the source of the creative energy shared by us.
