Fleet-Wood Dancentre

 

Sharron Fleet and Jane Wooding joined forces in 1994 opening Fleet-Wood Dancentre. Together they created four streams of 80 classes serving both the recreation student and pre-professional dancer. Every year Fleet-Wood Dancentre launches a full scale production of "The Nutcracker" in Collingwood with year recital productions in June. They specialize in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet. Fleet-Wood Dancentre expanded to three studios in 1999, and to Wasaga Beach in 2002. Several Fleet-Wood students have gone on to full time professional career training schools and universities in Canada and the United States.
